Just one bad record in the Domain Name System (DNS) can take down a lot of resources — even in a decentralised system. The experimental peer-to-peer root naming system Handshake DNS looks to solve this problem.

The selfdriven Foundation owns the .selfdriven Handshake top-level-domain.

We plan to use it as part of the selfdriven.network descentralised resource address system, but the interim we have set up redirects from Handshake DNS to ICANN DNS:
